Following a deadly #gunshot in an ongoing disagreement, a court sentenced Mykenry Francois, 28, to life in prison.

On July 14, 2021, Bryan Felix, 22, was a passenger in a car near the junction of Americana Blvd. and San Antonio Blvd.

Francois was in a separate car following Felix.

According to a news release from the state attorney's office, surveillance footage caught Francois exiting his automobile, running onto the road, and firing numerous bullets into Felix's vehicle, striking him many times.

Francois left the scene to a neighboring apartment complex, while Felix's driver stopped at a nearby gas station.

Felix was taken to the hospital by first responders and died as a result of his injuries.

Four days after the #shooting, Orange County officers went to an unrelated domestic violence complaint at Francois' house at 2000 #Cabo San Lucas Drive, according to the news release.

Deputies discovered a pistol inside the home, which matched the shot casings from the incident.
