Human arm found at Waukegan beach could be linked to death of Milwaukee woman

A human arm that washed up on a suburban Chicago beach might be related to a Wisconsin case in which a 19-year-old woman was slain and dismembered after going on a date.

According to the Lake County Coroner, Waukegan Police were dispatched to the Waukegan Municipal

Beach at 201 East Sea Horse Drive at 8:36 p.m. Saturday when a citizen walking down the coastline discovered what appeared to be a human arm.

When officials arrived on the site, they discovered a mostly undamaged right human arm.

The Coroner's Office believes the arm came from a female. It was evaluated by a forensic pathologist. A Forensic Anthropologist would do a more in-depth examination.

According to a news statement, the Coroner's Office was collaborating with a "neighboring state" to assist identify the body and provide DNA samples as part of a "on-going investigation in that jurisdiction."

According to NBC 5 affiliate TMJ4, the limb might be linked to the killing of Sade Robinson, 19, of Milwaukee, who was slain and dismembered during a first date last month. According to the report, the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office informed the station that Robinson's family had been notified regarding the limb discovered in Waukegan.

Maxwell Anderson, 33, of Milwaukee, has been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson in connection with Robinson's death, according to NBC News. His next court appearance is planned in July.
